Håkan Bergh received the Poster Prize at the congress for a poster named: Predictive factors for longterm sick leave and disability pension among frequent and normal attenders in primary health care over 5 years.

Registration starts on Wednesday June 13th, between: 16:00-19:00, at Haskolabio (main entrance hall). Registration starts again on Thursday at 07:30 and the Opening Ceremony starts at 8:30.

Dear congress participants. The opening ceremony of the 15th Nordic congress of general practice is just around the corner. Almost 1300 participants are registered including more than 150 junior doctors. The Scientific program has over 200 events. A fantastic social program with endless options of pre- and postcongress possibilities. We await you with great anticipation. We want you to enjoy everything so read all available information regarding the congress and out-of-congress activity. Then when you start your trip, relax and enjoy. As always at congresses it is becoming obvious that some Social events are more popular than others. We therefore encourage you to remember to register early for those events you are considering to attend, before they become sold out.

April 12th 2007 Dear all. We are happy to inform you that altogether 198 scientific events will be presented at our congress, i.e. 7 Plenary lectures, 17 Symposia, 33 Workshops, and 141 Traditional research, education and debate papers (of which 75 are oral presentations and 66 are posters). The content of these contributions is wide-ranging and of high-quality and reflect innovative primary health care in the Nordic countries as well as in other parts of the world.

 The winner of the The Nordic Research Prize 2007 is Professor Marjukka Mäkelä (Finland). The prize will be handed over to professor Mäkelä at the closing ceremony Saturday June 16th
